However, there are still a few that made the game a little more enjoyable for me: I dont think there are any required mods by any means because CDPR has patched the game to hell and back. Short said: The minimap in Witcher3 is essential. In Witcher3 you essentially "play" on the minimap (as in most RPGs) you don't look around or climb on a hill or tree to find interesting looking places to go. In Zelda you don't need a minimap because the quests are clearly worded and you always know what to do and most quest target locations "looks/feels" interesting so you would investigate seem anyway when coming near.
Modding the minimap away is not a wise thing to do. Some mods, like fast travel, could break your game if used at the wrong moment. If you install more then one mod, the chance of crashes or game breaking bugs increase rapidly. Most graphics mods make some aspect of the game better, but other worse. For example, you don't need endless stuff in your inventory, most of the things are useless anyway, get rid of them instead try to find a way to hoard things with a mod. Many of this mods change things that are there for a reason. You will begin looking for mods instead of playing the game.
Don't, when you begin to mod a game, there is no ending.
